I'm still alive!

fiberaddictIt's hotter than Hades here, but I'm still alive and kicking!

ritaspins37 came out and we had a good time, chatting and admiring wheels (her newest is cool!). The in-laws came - it wasn't as bad as I had feared (thankfully!) - and fixed the loom table and hung my new ceiling fan in the studio annex. J. came - he was running late - got to meet everybody, then we had to run to my co-worker's and on to LensCrafters. Mr. Co-worker is not doing well - she took today off to take him to the eye doctor, as he now cannot see at all out of his left eye. We think it's related to the fall he had Thursday, but I won't know until she calls me back tonight or tomorrow.
Himself got brand-spanking new frames, as his were toast. Thank goodness for warranties!
Sunday was church - J. went and made all the ladies tell me to keep him. *g* Came home - *I* took a nice nap while he cleaned out my garage (!) and the kids watched a DVD. He also fixed my tractor. The only thing that he didn't accomplish was getting the water softener fixed; he hasn't decided if I need it in the garage or the laundry room. :shrug: I'm in no rush, so - whatever. At least I'm not paying someone to think about it! (shuddup. Just - shuddup. *g*)
Yesterday was NASA. He drove - and only got lost once we got into Webster. Not bad. (Me? I was lost the minute we left Kaufman. *g*) We stayed...oh, 5.5 hours or so, saw all the movies, looked at most of the exhibits, paid exhorbiant prices for mediocre food, but overall had a blast. He is really really really good with the kids; didn't lose his temper once (which is really saying something), didn't mind the "Come ON! Over HERE! Look at THIS!" that was repeated 10,000,000,000,000 times an hour, didn't try to spoil my kids......it was nice. I'd like to go back later and take the tour again (withOut the kids, this time), since we missed it yesterday (the kids wanted to watch the shuttle land. So.....we did.)
I'm thinking I need to keep him. Guess I need to start cleaning out the closets......:whistles innocently:
Oh, and today? SLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!
