Home stretch...
Feb. 28th, 2006 01:27 pmon sock #1! The ribbing is done, and I've started picking up the stitches for the 2nd 1/2 square.
It looks cool (pics will be forthcoming!)...but the ribbing is tight where I cast off. I went up to a size 3, and co very very sloppily..but it's still tight. It *does* fit, but it's hard to ease it over my heel. No matter - I like it. I'll make it's mate, and wear them proudly.
And, of course, I'll make a better pair out of handspun. *g*
