the IRS is as good as their word - the refund hit today. Got the dining room set check sent out, and ordered my new-to-me camera (a refurbished Nikon Coolpix D5700...for LESS than I've seen them go for on eBay. Go me! :grin:) Also paid my tithe...so that's good.
I'll pay Sweet Geek tonight for the laptop, then the rest goes into savings to pay the property taxes next year. I need to get the kids some new clothes, but that can come a bit later on.
I did order me a sock kit last night......NOT the Vintage one, no...but the "Fiber Festival" one. It has a Sheep! on the cuff, and a lace spinning wheel on the leg. :grin: How could I resist? (I couldn't)
Off to work now...Ms. boss is on her way up. They did NOT clean the carpets last night, so we're still all stopped up....but at least it's Friday and I'll have 2 days to recover. Himself had an asthma attack last night because of me :sigh:.....I hope they get this cleaned up soon.
