It's been a day...
Oct. 15th, 2009 02:21 pmlet's see..got to work, fired up the PCs and printers, did a few things, and *pop* - the power went out. Called the boss, she said "Oh. Well, go get some coffee and come back at 8. I'm sure the power will be on then." Right...
Called the landlord, he came up, long story short: Water leak in the wall that flooded the electrical room. Electrician couldn't be there until 10:30..and couldn't work until all the water was mopped up (which...couldn't happen until the leak was stopped.) Called boss back...was told - GRUDGINGLY - "Well. I *guess* you can just Go Home, then. :sniff: Change the answering machine." :blink: Ummm...what part of NO ELECTRICITY do you NOT understand? :bangs head:
Anyway, got home to find a dead refrigerator. Ran out to a Resale shop and bought a "new" one. :sigh: It's being delivered tonight.....as are 2 loads of gravel for the driveway. Glad I'm home?.....
