the tornadoes passed us, thankfully. I think the count is 5? that touched down last night.....bad weather, that's for sure!

We got off lightly - heavy rain, but only 1.5". No hail, no tornado(es). We managed to milk in between storms (there was a wave....3, I think.)

Rosa's....well, she's doing a little better. Still very little appetite - I gave her a shot of Thiamine this AM to try and boost it. My mother came over with "old" bread - Rosa scarfed it up like it was manna. We saved the rest for her for milking time - ANYTHING to get her to eat!

I also tried something new - I know that udder massage is recommended for congested udders. Problem: it hurts my hands. Solution: the little "bug" massager we got at Thrall-mart a few years ago. It seemed to break up some of the hard spots this AM, and I did get a little more milk. It now lives at the barn.....I'm going to try liniment, too, for heat......her left udder is fine, but the right one is so engorged it looks painful. :sigh:

We took the kids out to the front yard for playtime - I got some *good* photos. I need to process them.....can't tonight, we're taking Trouble to the vet, but I'll try to do it tomorrow. They're so cute!
