More questions.......
Oct. 23rd, 2012 12:57 pmSo. I was thinking about 1 Thess. last night, and I wonder: What exactly - or WHO exactly - is meant by "the dead in Christ"? Because....I thought that once you accepted Christ, you had Eternal Life, and therefore wouldn't die - Spiritually, anyway. So....what does that phrase mean?
I looked up the verse in Strong's - die means, well, Dead. No longer living. So..that's not really a help.
I'm trying to look at it from the Jewish perspective (since the Apostles were Jewish, and well grounded in Torah)...but I still can't figure it out. I don't know where to go to look, either....
Anyway, that's what's been percolating in my head right now......
Work today went well - I was done by 10:30, and out of there by 11:45. Looks like we're going to stick to Tuesdays for the time being...things get done faster.
