Herself is at FIL's until next Friday. Met the nurse who is setting up his in-home PT; hope this goes well! Then Himself and I headed back to Ikea to give them more of our hard-earned money. :lol:
He needed 2 more tall Billy bookcases (1 wide, 1 narrow), 1 short and wide Billy, a night stand and a computer desk. I needed a pantry cabinet (ended up with a tall and wide Billy with half-glass doors. It's Beautiful!), and SG wanted me to pick up the vanities for our bathroom.
We ended up with all Himself's and my stuff, but not the bathroom - SG decided last minute it was "too expensive" (he had forgotten how much was on the tag on the display. :shakes head:)
Anyway. The desk, short Billy, nightstand and pantry have all been assembled. Himself is taking a break; he'll do the other 2 Billys tonight.
Me? I'm on dishwasher load #7, and box # 100 or so. :gulp:
I have discovered that my lovely, lovely sink will hold approx. 1.5 - 2 dishwasher loads, with room to spare. And Swedish chocolate is very tasty. And Ikea drawer organizers work a treat! :lol:
Have to run to Home Depot to pick up the tile to finish the bar area and backsplash.....I want the kitchen DONE. Then we'll move the old pantry cabinet out (it's heavy!) and paint behind it, then move my Billy pantry in. Can't wait!
The goal: to have ALL the boxes (except the ones that go on the command center; if we're going to replace it - and we are! - there's no point in loading it up only to unload it again.) empty by Sunday evening so Monday AM I can start loading boxes with stuff from our room. :sigh: and :huzzah: :fingers crossed:
