fiberaddictOK, so I know ya'll been waiting with baited breath for these photos (Hey - let me have my dreams, 'k? :grin:) - I finally got the fence chicken-proofed :fingers crossed:, so the girls got out last night for some fun. I had my camera.
Here's a shot looking into the coop:

Obviously, the feeder is the best seat in the house!

Let us out - we're innocent, I tell you! Innocent!
So, we get them out (it involves a small boy, lots of squeals, and some climbing into coop by said small boy), and what do they do? Why, they huddle under the coop, of course!
You can see how large the Black Australorp is here - she's quite a bit larger than the others.
We finally got them to move around.....but it involved more of the small boy. :grin:
I couldn't get all 20 of them in a good shot outside, but I tried. You can see that we have quite a variety - I tried to get a good shot of the Ameracunas - they have hawk-like markings on their heads and necks; one of them is quite blue-looking. :big eyes: The RIR's all look pretty much alike; so do the Buff Orpingtons (some have white on their wings, others don't, but still - yellow is yellow is yellow :grin:)
Getting them back *into* the coop is fun - it involves nabbing a chicken and tossing it into the coop manually, since they haven't figured out the whole ramp-thing yet. I was too busy laughing to even *think* of getting photos...I'll try to do that tonight. :lol:
We're working on names - I'm leaning towards Shakespearian ones (Puck. Peaseblossom. Mustardseed (for an Orp, of course!), Katharina...the list goes on and on and on. :grin:), but we need to get a feeling for personalities first.
