fiberaddictSing along with me now: It's raining, it's pouring......Again. It's pitch black outside and ominous. We need the rain, yes...but I'm about to evolve some webbed feet, here. :lol: ("We're Camp Nipper-sinkers, we're in luck! If it rains all week, pretend you're a Duck! Quack, Quack, waddle, waddle...." :snicker:)
Heard this AM that one of the Antique stores near our old house was on fire (Philbeck's, if you're familiar with that area)....hope they got it out before losing all the lovely stuff - AND before it spread! There's a long row of nothing but Antique stores in that area....lots of junk, yes, but lots of really pretty stuff, too.
My violin should be ready today for pick-up - he said it would only take about an hour, hour-and-a-half to do. We'll see. I LOVE how the Evah P...whatever strings sound on it - they give it a nice, bright tone. It should sound even better when I get it back....the luthier recommended the Obligato strings...we'll see.
It's looking worse out there, and we have a touchy power line here, so I'd better go....more later!
