We survived the Fast yesterday for the most part. My blood sugar finally gave up around 3:30, so I had a few sips of milk (I...don't like milk. Not straight - I usually add chocolate. To stick to the "deny yourself", I drank it straight...:ick:) We started our fast at 6:00-ish on Tuesday; we made it to 6:15 or so before SG said he couldn't make it another hour. :sigh:

Anyway. Still here. So.....either a) We got left; b) YK was Spiritual, and the Rapture isn't as the church teaches; or c) The church got this 1 thing right, but our timing is still off.

Sukkot is up next. The Feast of Tabernacles/Booths. John said that 'The Word came and Tabernacle'd with us'.....so we still have 1 Feast this year to watch. (Hanukkah could still be right too....the Light of the World was conceived on Hanukkah; why couldn't the light be *removed* on it?)

And...I got a message this AM from Koinoia House (I probably butchered the spelling...sorry.) Buried within the email, right before the ad for their latest DVD, was this:

It is believed that the last three feasts, in the seventh month, are prophetic of the Lord's Second Coming. It seems little coincidence that the seventh day of Sukkot is called Hoshanah Rabbah - "Great Salvation". Many believers are particularly watchful each fall in the hopes that "this" will be the year these final three feasts are fulfilled. Even if Egypt wants to hold out on delivering its palm fronds.

I've never read this before, so I'm kinda wondering why I'm finding this out now, but hey - I'll run with it!

Me? I've always sorta thought that the *8th* day was a good candidate. Why? Because that's the day Yeshua was formally accepted into the Covenant (it was his bris); it just sounds like a prime time for the robed redeemed to be accepted in THE Temple, y'know?

I'm rambling; it's early. Hope everyone has a good day!

you know, there is a lot of places that say the tiem will be shortened but there are even more places that say He's gonna tarry...so not unexpected.
Always good to be ready, and as much as the world is all messed up and as much as I would love to see order and healing be brought to it, His ways are higher and His timing is perfect and I will not complain.

Wait until you see my post today. ;) It's a paper I found called "For Fiber Addict (who believes the rapture is Sukkot)". I'm posting a picture of it... I found it yesterday, during my reading time, ironically.
