I have spent the last hour trying to recover from an error I made 1 pattern repeat below. I tried to drop the 3 stitches in question, add the yo, then pick them back up....and ended up tinking back *3* pattern repeats.

I am just *now* back where I was this AM....at the last pattern repeat before the heel flap.

Psssssssssssssssssssssssssssssh.

Ah, well....at least I recovered!

Back to the needles....

So.... I suppose that giggling at you is out of the question?

I really can't wait to see the Parrot Socks.

I fubared something on the lace shawl I'm knitting and I'm contemplating inserting a lifeline and ripping back to the mistake. Which will be Not Fun, but I think the error's going to bug unless I fix it. I'm going to try to fix it w/o frogging first, though.

Which is to say: I feel your pain.

Yeah, yeah, go ahead and laugh - just wait!

That's what I hate about lace...it's so bloody hard to correct if you don't see it right away. *sigh*

but it was giggling at you in a loving sort of way!

I can empathize... I mean, sewing isn't too far fetched from knitting and when you look at the project on the overall and realize that you stitched something wrong and you now have to rip out all of those seams just to fix it.
