Whee! I'm home today...

because of the weather! No snow, alas, just tons of nasty ice and cold temps (it's currently 33....with a wind chill of 8, I think. Brrrrrrrrrr!)

Kids are home - the ISD was closed. Himself is napping, Herself is driving me insane - no Concerta for her this AM; it got thrown away because she left the table without taking it, and it was shoved under the plate. Urk.

Family room and Living room are both clean. Tree is up, the creche is set up. Did 4 loads of laundry (gotta keep the water flowing, right?) I am pooped.

My wheel will be shipped to my co-worker's house, since UPS won't deliver *here*, and it's too big to go USPS. The office is only open 1 more week....so that was the only option.

I am 8 rounds from finishing my SIL's Christmas prezzie. So, why am I still on LJ?? *g* Gotta finish it, then get the dyepot going so I can update the color. Should be fun!

Are you glad you stayed home? I would rather not have braved the cold and ice this morning, but then again I survived, didn't I? I am glad to be home doing my laundry now too.
