the electrician just left. Got the pool "legally" set up now - works a treat. Cost was 1/3 of what he quoted me - gotta love a man that over-estimates so his customers are happy.

Of course, this means that I have a bit of extra $$ to play with. *g* Gotta go hit eBay now....just kidding. It'll stay in the bank for Arlington next week!

While he and his assistant were working, I got the Structo loom warped and 3" woven on a handspun scarf; got a bobbin full of merino froghair, and cleaned the kitchen. Need a nap now, but won't get one - gotta go get the oil changed in the van.

Is your Strcto a table loom or a floor loom?

I'm starting to jones for a table loom.

It's a table loom, but I put it on a LeClerc stand, so it now has treadles.

It's ancient - at least 40 years old - and it's rather cranky and stiff. The kids couldn't get a shed to open, even after *tons* of WD-40, 30W oil, and even vegetable oil. The stand makes it usable - except for the brake mechanism, which is hard for *me* to operate. I'm pondering fixes for it...

Table looms are fun, but they make you want a floor loom bad. It's hard to keep going - your hands have to stop and change the shed. They're great for sampling and small projects, though, and much faster to warp.

Although - you already have a floor loom, don't you? *g*
