fiberaddictOK - so I got the Morocco Method Marigold Blonde mix in earlier this week. I mixed some up yesterday AM, and let it sit all day while I was at work.
I applied the mix last night, left it on for 1.5 - 2 hours (under a heat cap that I kept switching from Med to High), then hopped in the shower and rinsed. A lot. Used 1/2 bottle of VO5 Calming Chamomile Condish, before all the mud was finally gone (and on my thin hair, that's a LOT of condish! :lol:)
It was still wet when I went to bed (and I slept with it loose), so I have wild hair this AM, but OMG - it is SO soft, and SO shiny - and, right now, it has a tinge of coppery-red-gold to it. Like, new penny copper. :bigeyes:
It's lovely, the color actually suits my complexion, and it's not in-your-face-noticable to anyone but me. :whee: I can't wait until tomorrow to shampoo and see what the "real" color is! :grin:
This particular blend of henna is a mixture of "real" henna and cassia - something like 1/4 henna to 3/4 cassia. It's not supposed to give you RED hair, but it is supposed to give you the conditioning benefits of henna. I like it....we'll see if I still do tomorrow. :grin:
