Let's see....met with Herself's counciler and English teacher today. Went well - we've agreed that the 504 as stated stands, with the addition of "no cursive writing". Sweet Geek and I agreed to let the English teacher take off points for non-legible handwriting (seriously - Herself'd give a doctor a run for his non-legible money!), and they've agreed to let her skip the pep rallies. It was a good meeting.
Got home and took Mom to the doc for her post-op. Staples were removed; she returns in 3 months for a follow-up colonoscopy. Meanwhile, she has to go to an oncologist for chemo.
Sweet Geek and I ran to the local reclaimed hardware store...got 2 windows, 2 doors, and more lumber for the goat barn. This will complete the feed room and milk room.....just need the tin and those 2 areas will be totally done. Still have the barn to do....
I..um....started another pair of socks today. My MacLellan yarn has been glaring at me...so this AM before heading to the doc's office I snapped. The cuff is done (2x2 rib), and I'm almost done with the first pattern repeat of "Monkey". Yes, Monkey - again. This yarn...I *love* the colors, they are an exact match to the tartan, but....busy, busy, BUSY. Monkey will harness that, I think.....I'm going to whip up another pair on the CSM tonight, so I can see what it looks like in straight stockinette, but for me, Monkey it is. I've only got about 2 hours into it, and Monkey does go fast, so.... I'll get back on the FF socks..soon-ish. All that gray is starting to get to me. :lol: (I'm at the toe of #2, so it's not like I have a whole lot left..but it's Gray. :ugh: I need some COLOR! :lol:)
Mom's gonna pick up the kids today - she's been cleared to drive. Huzzah! :lol:
