Let's see... Friday was fun. Our friends got here about 11:30, and left at 7:00. They helped weld part of the round pen, they played with chicks, and they learned how to hand-milk a goat. They also visited the Meat Locker and went home with about 100 pounds of "dog" bones ($5.....BIG box. LOTS of meat left on them. She's going to make broth/stock with hers; ours, the dogs get.)

Yesterday was spent totally cleaning out the doe barn, leveling the floor, and putting down the rubber mats and re-bedding. BIG job...but the barn looks great, and - NO flies. :whee:

Sometime Friday night our mailbox got taken out. Today, SG is planting a 5" post to get the box back up.....I'm surprised they were able to drive off. See, we had a plastic post...but I had filled it with concrete. It was SOLID.....in fact, the across-the-street neighbor heard the "WHAM" about midnight. :evil grin: Hope the car was damaged......

Still no kids. Rosa's HUGE....and she's dropped, so it should be any time now. Her ligs are gone, as are Zorra's.

We got the milker up and running - I like the new shells/inflations. You can SEE what's going on, which is cool, and it milks them out better than I can with my hands. All 3 sets work, too.....so as soon as we get kids, I'll be able to milk 3 at a time. :happy dance:

Gotta go vacuum!
