Well, THAT went well....
Nov. 29th, 2016 07:52 amSo. Yesterday Himself had 2 dental appointments; the AM one was for fillings, the PM one was the consult for his wisdom teeth extraction.
The fillings went well, but they only did half; he has apparently inherited my sensitive teeth. They had given him the max allowed novocaine before they got to the bottom teeth, so he gets to go back on Thursday to get *them* done.
The consult went very well, too - he goes in Monday to get all 4 teeth extracted. :whew!: SO glad we homeschool - I don't know how we'd be able to manage, otherwise!
We sent the Insurance check off to the mortgage company Express Mail yesterday......only they won't get it (probably) until *tomorrow*. :Sigh: Then we wait on THEM to get off their arses and get the check back to us so we can get this party started. We verified the flooring quote (and confirmed the flooring I wanted) yesterday....I am SO glad we decided to go with Ikea cabinets. There's no way the check would cover everything, otherwise (we went with a slightly more expensive vinyl plank flooring instead of laminate; it'll last longer - especially with the dogs we have.) We probably won't be done by Hanukkah - MAYBE by New Year's, but it's doubtful. We're planning on doing the cabinet install ourselves - Ikea charges $200/cabinet to install (on average).....yeah, I can DIY it myself for free. :Sigh:
My cold miraculously vanished yesterday AM - Praise God! I thought I'd be out of commission for at least a week, but He had other plans!
Gotta skitter - need to wake up the younglings and get school started. Laters!
