I was able to get my hands on the Betty add-on pack (my bank automatically rejects any overseas purchases; I called them and got them to lift the ban for today. :huzzah!:), so I printed it out and ran it down to the Studio. I traced off the scoop-neck bodice, doing a 16 for the neck and shoulders, and blending to an 18 at the bust, then back to a 16 for the waist. I had some already washed cotton (in a shamrock print!) ready to go, so I cut out the bodice......somehow, 4 yards wasn't enough for the bodice and skirt pieces. I have the front skirt pattern pinned to the fabric, but had to wash another *1.5* yards to fit the back pieces on. :scratches head: Ah, well - it's another $1/yard fabric, so no biggie. It won't take long to sew up the bodice to check the fit - but I probably won't get to that today or tomorrow....or next week, even.

The plumbers have the water lines moved, but need to rough-in the tub and set it in place. Tomorrow, SG is supposed to go pick up the Hardie board so he can put it up, then we get to tile. However......one of my favorite fabric outlets is having a 25% off sale today/tomorrow/Saturday, so I think Herself, Mom and I may head over there tomorrow and see what they have. I'd like some linen/rayon/cotton lawn for the upcoming Hot season. (It does actually get cold here - below freezing, even! It's just....Summer is a little slice of Hell, usually - and this year? Looks to be BAD - we didn't have a Winter to speak of. I was in SHORTS just the other day, and sweating already. :shakes head: Dresses really are cooler in the heat, so I need to get my act together. :sigh:

Anyway. The plumbers just brought the tub in, and it's starting to smell like pipe cement. I think I need to head back down to the Studio to get away from it...
