Arrrrrrrrrrrgh!
Nov. 13th, 2007 10:11 amOh good Lord....Ms. boss is just itching to replace us. Honestly.......
Cyn had a *bad* weekend with her husband - he's a diabetic, on dialysis. Yesterday, his blood sugar fell to 30 (he's OK! For now!) and it took them over 2 hours to get it back up to 100. Scarey stuff.......but, in relating this to Ms. boss, her first reaction?
"Well, should you stay home, then? I need to know, so I can find a replacement. It's going to take a while..." :bangs head:
I.....I am speechless. Totally gobsmacked. This is NOT the correct response to someone who almost lost her husband yesterday. :bangs head: :repeatedly:
I mean, this beats her greedy money-grubbing, it beats her "Well, I can always get *someone* else to do it if YOU don't want to" or the "Well, get someone *else* to take care of your sick kids" routines she regularly pulls out. :sigh:
Stuff like this makes me look forward to unemployment.......(and I'm only half-kidding here. :sigh:)
