and I think we are done. I hope so, anyway - taxes aren't due until Tuesday (Emancipation day = Monday, = Gov't holiday), but I'm tired of looking at forms and financial statements and spreadsheets.

Still working on sock #2. I am halfway thru the first pattern repeat (it's a 24 round repeat), and it's looking good. Sock #1 was duly admired at church this morning :smile:


Ugh. I'll be so glad when April is Over......


Next weekend is the Heritage Festival. Should be fun - I have been asked to bring wildly-colored wool, and toys, and and and.....we'll see what I come up with. I need to shop the stash and figure out what would be considered "wild". ritaspins37, you would't happen to have any more clown-spore laying around, would ya? :grin:

Probably have it but I can't remember which colorway you nicknamed Clown-spore. If it is the one you requested a pound of, I have all the parts, still need to be assembled. I can get it done in evenings this week. Since my taxes are filed I can breathe a little and get some carding done this week.

Okay, I read back to one of your previous entries to identify clown-spore. I do have all the parts to that I think, as long as the version you want had the electric green in it, carded rainbow batt style rather than evenly blended. Yeah? Lemme know! Ooh Ooh, I have to dye the orange, but can probably still have some by the weekend.

Yes'm, the screamigly bright green/orange combo.

The new batch doesn't need to be exactly those colors - but the same feeling; bright, obnoxious, etc. :grin: The resulting yarn looks like a clown's wig...:evil grin:

Okay, the orange is in the dyepot, should be good and set by the time I get off work this evening, dry overnight, carding tomorrow evening. Thank Heavens you mentioned taxes. I had started efiling a month ago but didn't have the soc sec cards at hand and meant to come back later and finish. Got them in at a quarter to due, thank you!
