It's Wednesday..
Jun. 4th, 2008 07:20 amthankfully. Co-worker is out today, getting her husband moved to a long-term care facility (NOT a nursing home!) where his wound doctor is director. This one specializes in wounds no one else can figure out...so he's in good hands.
Of course, this means that *I* am left up here with Mrs. boss...Fun stuff, that. At least I already have lunch plans....
I also think I'm gonna go ahead and get the Grafton needles.....I looked at the budget. It'll be tight...but I need a decent set of needles ASAP. The bamboo ones I grabbed at JoAnn's yesterday are already showing strain (and I'm NOT a tight knitter. It's just...size 1s aren't the most rugged of needle anyway. :sigh:)
I frogged the sock cuff and started over - I'm *much* happier with it now. I added 8 stitches (1 full inch, according to my gauge), which means it won't be as stretched out on his ankle. It makes *me* happy, anyway...
Must head back to Carolina Homespun - I got me some needles to order!
