fiberaddictSorry about the radio silence yesterday - I spent most of the day vegging out on the couch. I was beat! Sweet Geek got home from work early...and then we BOTH vegged out. :grin:
Today, we bought 2 (cheap) bookcases, put them together, and CLEANED the master bedroom. Oh my gosh, it was bad. *2* 55-gallon trashbags bad! That room had become the dump zone for everything we didn't know what to do with.....and it had gotten out of hand.
Well, it's almost perfect now. The bookcases are about half full - and look fantastic against the green walls (they're white, and match the trim). We're both happy with how it turned out.
While vegging yesterday, I started a hat for Herself. It's woolease (yeah, I know - ICK), but she picked out the colors, and wanted it NOW, and.....the yarn was only $2/ball. What ya gonna do? Oh, the hat? Is the Fishhead hat from Knitty. She LOVES it....me? Meh. It's easy - I'm already up to the first set of decreases, and it's funky cute - totally her. Himself thinks he might want a new hat, but he's not sure. If he does, I'll try to find the R2D2 hat for him....:lol:
Needless to say, my camera is still in the case. I have an EMG tomorrow morning, but I'll TRY to snap some photos of the wheel tomorrow afternoon. TRY. :grin:
