fiberaddictJust got off of the phone...I reserved some Golden-laced Wyandottes, Silver-laced Wyandottes, and Welsummers - all pullets (about 8 - 11 months old). We might end up with a few Australorps, too....but no more Ameracunas. Love 'em, but I can't find a breeder with them AND the Wyandottes - and the laced Wyandottes were non-negotiable. :grin:
We're slated to pick 'em up next Saturday...but I'm gonna see if I can't get Sweet Geek to go out this Sunday. :bounce:
I called the kids, and they are OK with no more blue/green eggs. The fact that Welsummers lay dark chocolate-brown eggs had NOTHING to do with that, I'm sure. :grin:
In other news, the water lines have been moved, and we've added 1 to the pool. The chicken run is being fixed as I type....I'll need to do the top still, but that's not as MUST do as re-setting the posts were.
Also, my glasses are in.
