fiberaddictI just found - and reserved! - some Silver Laced Wyandotte pullets!!!! AND they're only about 25 miles from the house!!! :insert happy dancing NOW:
Sweet Geek and I are both off tomorrow - school conference concerning Herself - so we are heading over to pick up some new pullets tomorrow!! To say I am excited is an understatement.....I can't believe I found some SLW's SO close to home! After MONTHS of looking!!
Of course, this means we have to get the run chick-proofed now.....they are somewhere between 2.5 months and 1 year - the seller couldn't remember (she has 30 SLW, + Australorps, Americunas, Gold Sexlink, Black Sexlink, Red Sexlink, Buff Orpingtons and Barred Rocks...so, yeah - lots of clucking going on.
I'm geeked...I'm getting my pretty hens finally!
