Gobble, Gobble!

fiberaddictHappy Turkey Day! I can't call it Thanksgiving, since we should be thankful *every* day.....and most people forget that.
Anyway! On the menu today: Turkey, stuffed with garlic/onions/celery and basted with butter and spices, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, roasted sweet potatoes, cornbread stuffing, braided challa, salad (maybe..) and desserts. I bought a carrot cake from Chocolate Angel (BEST carrot cakes I have EVER had!), Himself was in charge of the pies. We have 4. For 5 people. :lol:
He made Pumpkin, Apple (Herself dumped the filling in), Chocolate cream, and Peanut Butter. I think we're good on pies.....the kids also made sugar cookies and brownies earlier in the week....I think we need to be thankful we're not diabetics! :lol:
So - take it easy today, enjoy your family, and be thankful for what you have. It's something we should try to do every day.
