Been busy today....

fiberaddictsince Ms. boss isn't in......I have ordered 5 goat blankets (found a site....$18/each for the Nubians, and $22 for Zorra. Water-resistant outer shell and quilted lining, with horse-style straps and buckles! *I* can't sew one up for those prices, 'cause I don't sew that well!), 1 horse turnout rug for Dusty, and another sofa/loveset slipcover set. eBay is my friend....the blankets are necessities, since our weather is so wacky (and both the milk goats and Dusty were shivering this AM...gotta do something. Hope Finn leaves the blanket alone this year!) Oh! Also ordered a seed bank finally. Been wanting to do that for months, but never could - this AM it was OK, so I went ahead and did (and I can't explain it any better than that.)
Little :snerk: Miss Brianna tried to EAT MY LOVESEAT today WHILE I WAS STANDING RIGHT THERE. :shakes head: She got bopped.....at least Snips did it when we weren't watching her. I'm afraid the waffle-weave slipcovers aren't gonna last....so this set is twill. :fingers crossed:
Watching the financial melt-down...the dollar will fail, soon, methinks. Hopefully not SOON-soon, but be prepared for some rough times ahead. Got seeds? Food stored? A source for eggs/meat/dairy products? Might seem like I'm beating a dead horse, but if you're not at least a little self-sufficient, things will not go well for you. Don't expect your neighbors/family to help out - most of us have only prepped for *our* needs, not everyone else's. Just sayin'......
