JoAnn's offers a teacher's discount - 15% off of your total purchase. They include Homeschooler's in that - but you have to prove that you are homeschooling. They accept as proof your HSLDA card.

We went and had lunch with SG today (not planned; I had planned on going to the closet JoAnn's....but he decided that I meant the large one near work. So....he bought lunch. :grin:) 15% off isn't a bad thing - I got enough fabric to make me 3 blouses, and 2 yards of pre-quilted stuff to back my everyday placemats.

More later - I got some ironing and pinning to do!

my Jo-anns *used* to let me get a homeschooling discount - but then a couple of years ago they said homeschooling didn't qualify - maybe I should get the card at another Jo-ann's?

I was looking at amazon's free kindle books and found one that I thought you might be interested in, if you don't already have it. It's written for teachers and I thought it might be useful in the homeschooling plan.
