fiberaddictToday was work day. I am SUPPOSED to work from 8:00 to 12:00. I usually get there at 7:00, to make sure I get done by 12:00.
Today? I left - LEFT - at 1:21. And the work STILL isn't done. :bangs head:
Why? Because the Office Administrator (for the company I do contract work for) didn't do her job. She didn't approve 1 landman's hours (which screwed up THAT invoice) and she didn't notice that another landman had only entered 5 days...when he worked 8. And when she - SHE - entered the other 3 days, she entered them as "Time Off", which means that a)he doesn't get PAID for them and b) the invoice is STILL screwed up. :bangs head: And she didn't call me about that until 10:45.
I was still on the phone with her when Financial Advisor (who owns the contract company) came in. HE is pissed. Very pissed. I was done with everything but our internal accounting by 9:30 - because of her, I didn't get the checks input until 12:30. :grrrrrrr:

In better news, Himself ATE UP the first lesson of Singapore DM. The one that had Herself and me banging heads over (Prime numbers, factorization, and index notation). Singapore says a 75% is considered an "A"......Himself got 100% correct. :happy dance:
And in even BETTER news, Herself actually GOT Algebra yesterday. Seriously - she got 12 out of 14 problems correct, and the 2 she missed, she missed because of careless math. :happy dance:
And, for the record, I'm going to try to post at Dreamwidth from now on. It's set up to automatically crosspost to LJ; you can comment in either place and I'll get it. There's a problem accessing LJ, so I hope this fixes it. :fingers crossed:
