No sleep last night - the coyotes were out, and close to the barn. About 1 - 1:30 we went out to make sure the bucklings were OK. They were; Dusty had decided to camp out by the fence - I guess he wanted to protect them or something.

Herself has had a good morning - we refilled her sleep meds, so that helped. She also took the Adderall - which ALSO helped. :nods:

We watched Season 3 of "The Guild" last night......whoa. FULL of f*bombs and other bad language. Wil Wheaton is in it - he's the Axis of Anarchy guild leader, and he's funny, but......the language! I'm not to concerned, usually - it's just words, after all - but........the story line is now more focused on what's going on in the players real-life, not just in-game. They added a "new" player - the husband of one of the originals. Total Noob - and it's hysterical. (He starts playing so he and his wife can spend "quality time" together. :snicker:) I still like the show, but can't fully recommend it without reservations. (You can watch it for free on You Tube - look for user "watchtheguild". It IS funny - funnier if you know any gamers. It also reinforces why *I* don't game - I would get sucked into it.)

Gotta get stuff together so we can start school..... Next week will be basically Nothing - it's RH (Tuesday.....or Thursday, if you go by the calendar instead of the moon cycle). We'll do light schooling thru the 10 Days of Awe (should we be here), then more light schooling thru Sukkot (again, Lord willing). We'll pick back up again after that......not only does it give the kids a break, it gives me time to get Lesson Plans hammered out.

They have a show about online gaming and guilds? That, in itself, is funny.

DH is a big gamer and I, in fact, learned to play WoW to spend quality time with him. Hey, nothin' like killing the big dragon together!

We gave up WoW and play Rift now. Well. Not much, he and our gamer friends didn't play much so I have a level 50 and no one to play with, so I stopped and went back to sewing or whatever at night.

Did you need to know any of that? :)

WoW is "some profanity"... being that you play with humans. We had a "don't swear on vent" rule 'cause I don't like it when people go blue. Don't care what the dragon did. I think I remember a utilikilt... hm. Shamans got kilts as I recall. And sometimes the male warriors. Female warriors inexplicably wear bikinis much of the time. Well. Not inexplicably, we all know who draws the avatars... :D

I could tell you stories about Second Life. Although I'm not sure that's actually a GAME. :p

Oh if you want to be on the "first and best" guild on a server you do, in fact, have to live in the basement and play for 12+ hours a day, or why I was getting sick of WoW at level 80. Like, you can't see any new content if you don't live, eat/breathe WoW. Not my scene, yknow? Same in every MMORPG I've come across. You know that some people do get paid to play? IF they're good enough. You also (at least on WoW) have to play EXACTLY the way you're "supposed" to play to get into epic level stuffies. And likely get sworn at until you learn to play perfectly. No thanks!!!!

I was hoping Rift would be different, but by the time I hit 50 (which was good fun) I started to see a lot of the same levelled gear etc that made WoW a job and not a game. If my peeps come back to Rift, I wouldn't mind goofing around with it, but I am SO not going into grinding mode again with another game. BTDT, got the tshirt. Literally.... ;)

Our Rift guild is on Perspice, btw, since your DH is playing. :D (Like I've even logged in this month).
