fiberaddictNo sleep last night - the coyotes were out, and close to the barn. About 1 - 1:30 we went out to make sure the bucklings were OK. They were; Dusty had decided to camp out by the fence - I guess he wanted to protect them or something.
Herself has had a good morning - we refilled her sleep meds, so that helped. She also took the Adderall - which ALSO helped. :nods:
We watched Season 3 of "The Guild" last night......whoa. FULL of f*bombs and other bad language. Wil Wheaton is in it - he's the Axis of Anarchy guild leader, and he's funny, but......the language! I'm not to concerned, usually - it's just words, after all - but........the story line is now more focused on what's going on in the players real-life, not just in-game. They added a "new" player - the husband of one of the originals. Total Noob - and it's hysterical. (He starts playing so he and his wife can spend "quality time" together. :snicker:) I still like the show, but can't fully recommend it without reservations. (You can watch it for free on You Tube - look for user "watchtheguild". It IS funny - funnier if you know any gamers. It also reinforces why *I* don't game - I would get sucked into it.)
Gotta get stuff together so we can start school.....:yawn: Next week will be basically Nothing - it's RH (Tuesday.....or Thursday, if you go by the calendar instead of the moon cycle). We'll do light schooling thru the 10 Days of Awe (should we be here), then more light schooling thru Sukkot (again, Lord willing). We'll pick back up again after that......not only does it give the kids a break, it gives me time to get Lesson Plans hammered out. :grin:

We gave up WoW and play Rift now. Well. Not much, he and our gamer friends didn't play much so I have a level 50 and no one to play with, so I stopped and went back to sewing or whatever at night.
Did you need to know any of that? :)

Date: 2011-09-21 03:55 pm (UTC)Seasons 1 and 2 aren't bad. Slightly adult situations, *some* profanity...but Season 3 was....well, profanity city. Wil Wheaton is Hysterical as the evil bad guy (the first time you see him, he's in a Utilitkilt - the....umm...how to describe Clara...well, her avatar has huge bosums. She's......well, she's got 3 kids, takes pole dancing classes, and is just TOO funny. Anyway, she's all upset that the evil bad guy is dissing her Guild leader....so she goes up to WW's character and says something about "Hey, you can't do that, and oh, by the way, are you nekkid under there?" :lol: TOO funny!
SG played Rift for a while - lately he's been playing Call of Duty 4 (as a Marine, naturally)....I just....I played games as a kid, and caught myself getting too into them, so I quit. I don't WANT to go there....so the webisodes are good for me, to remind me WHY I quit playing. :lol:

We finished Season 3 last night...and we haven't *seen* the game. You see the "Knights of Good" avatars at the beginning of each episode, but that's it. I have NO clue what character WW plays....except that he likes Chaos. :snicker:

Date: 2011-09-21 08:36 pm (UTC)I was hoping Rift would be different, but by the time I hit 50 (which was good fun) I started to see a lot of the same levelled gear etc that made WoW a job and not a game. If my peeps come back to Rift, I wouldn't mind goofing around with it, but I am SO not going into grinding mode again with another game. BTDT, got the tshirt. Literally.... ;)
Our Rift guild is on Perspice, btw, since your DH is playing. :D (Like I've even logged in this month).
