1. ANNA (and other watchers) - have you seen this?? Umm....don't think it's legal, not that *that* means anything any more.

2. An educational video site, with contributors including MIT. I haven't done a lot of browsing yet, but wanted to get it out there.

3. In the same vein, here's a site with free piano lessons. I can't vouch for the quality of the teaching, but it's someplace to start, anyway.

4. HOW 'BOUT THEM RANGERS?!!!! *FANTASTIC* game last night, and they're home for the next 3 games. :bounce:

5. Our weekend just got scheduled. Since we have all these lovely cattle panels, we needed to find some fence posts. My main problem? SG wanted everything to "look the same" - since he did the back of the buck pen with 5", 8' tall round wooden posts, that's what he wants for the rest of the property. Do you have *any* idea how expensive that is? :sigh: $12/post, and we need 5 posts for every panel. (3 in the ground, 2 on top). So...I hit Craigslist. And I hit the jackpot - a guy had 75 8' tall, 5.5" round CEDAR posts...for $6.50. SG bought 60 of them.

Yes, *60*. We're going out there tomorrow to pay, and the guy said he'd deliver them since we bought most of what he had left. It'll only do 12 panels (if I've calculated correctly), but that'll do the buckling fence and the doe fence (not the whole pen, but the "outside" fence), and maybe finish the back of the buck pen. Although I'd rather re-do the FRONT of the buck pen...but that's minor.

6. There is no #6. I just wanted to have 7 points.

7. I'm not sure WHAT is going on, here - I know the Jews asked for a reprieve, and received it. I know we're in a waiting mode.....and I know that we keep getting blessed with things we need. It's humbling...and odd. We need hay - that's tentatively on the docket for next weekend, should He tarry longer.

Gotta get suited up for milking - yesterday it was in the 30's, today it's 50*. THIS is more "normal" Fall weather.......but it's a *cold* 50. Supposed to be chilly and WET for the 3 WS games here......fun stuff.

Yeah, I've read about it, but even if they DID manage to sneak it past 'we the people', you can be sure 'we the people' will squash it before we have to deal with it. Everything can be revoked, you know. No worries.

In other news (LOTS of other news, being shared here *exclusively*)... I have been BUSTING hiney at my blog behind the curtain. It seems I made everything NOT on my sidebar private several years ago, so I am re-publicking TEN YEARS worth of posts, hoping to get it done before Messiah comes back. And YES, I'm still on that schtick. We're down to mere days, now...

Reading THIS and wishing I could post about it. ((grins)): http://matzav.com/rav-brazil-on-hoshanah-rabbah-3

AND...! I had my first ever rapture dream last night:

I have been an active watcher since 2003, but only had one rapture dream during that time (2007, I believe). So I was very surprised to have had one last night after He awoke me for 2 hours in the wee part of the night.

In the dream, I was outside of a church that I have never been to, and it was night. ((This is rather symbolic - I haven't stepped foot in a church since 2005, so being 'outside' of a church is indicative of my current state.)) There was a minister who assumed that I was coming to services - he wore a long black robe, but wasn't Catholic. I'm not sure what he was, except that he was genial enough - or so I sensed (we didn't talk).

Suddenly I got this very urgent feeling that I needed to tell everyone coming to the services that it was time - the Lord was coming back NOW. All I had (have) in my car is a box of crayons for my kids to color at restaurants with, so I pulled some papers out of my trash bin (yeah, my car is a little anal-ly kept) and in crayon wrote:

"It is time!" and "Rapture" and "I'm so sorry" and "Yeshua, not Jesus - this is the 'Great Deception', this Christianity". Which, after I wrote it, rather stunned me, because while I've broken from Christianity (yet retain a Biblical worldview as a Messianic Jew)... I never thought of it as the deception Paul wrote of in the NT... that would fool even the very elect.

I put the messages under the windshield wipers, left my car unlocked, and prayed that they would take it seriously and understand. There was also a booth (like at a fair?) across from the church, and I saw that there were like messages hanging from the booth, in unfamiliar handwriting.

Then my daughter (11) said, "Mom, there He is, it's time!" and pointed to the sky. It was a clear night, and the moon was bright, but it was brighter than I'd ever seen before. Then it was like a lens fell away (or was slid aside) from the moon, and the glow became just blinding, and the rays of this glorious light filled the entire sky.

I felt something - intense excitement, all the way to my core - but it was a peaceful, surreal anticipation, not the kind that leaves you shaking, but rather like waves washing over you. And I felt myself come up off the ground, slowly, dizzyingly... dazzlingly. I was warm, tingling, moving upward so smoothly. I looked down to make sure my children were with me (my husband wasn't present, and I wished he'd been able to be with us when this happened). I saw my children, but didn't recognize them - they glowed, their WHOLE bodies - with Shekinah glory - so brilliantly that I couldn't see their features, although I knew it was them. There weren't many rising behind me - and I wondered if it was just my limited view from where I was, or if there'd been more from the 'dead in Christ' group than in my 'alive and caught up' group. The church people and the minister weren't among those of us raptured, as I knew (in the dream) that they wouldn't be.

We moved steadily upward, into the heavens, and it was an amazing feeling - amazing view. We moved like we were riding on a cloud of smoke coming out of a fire, smooth and light and purposefully. And I could see His face - He was smiling from that source of brilliance. It was amazing.

I woke before I got there, though. Which makes sense, in hindsight.

Man Anna - you post the crazy nearly incomprehensable Jewish Midrash over here...jealous...green...ah nevermind.
Should I comment on that here?

All you have to do is look at a piece of cash, they all say "good for all debts, public and private". Hopefully it will be thrown out quickly. For now. State law can't trump federal law.

-waves hi to Anna-
