fiberaddictI was trolling iTunes a few minutes ago...found a BUNCH of FREE Hebrew podcasts! Search "Learn Hebrew Pod" - there's 60 lessons; I'm listening to the first one now, and it's good. You hear a complete Hebrew conversation; then the narrator comes on and translates as they speak, then again, then the 2 speakers speak it SLOWLY and the other translates. Then they break it down and actually define the words - and give both the masculine and feminine of the words.
It's a good way to get the sound into your head - it's modern Hebrew, but that's OK. And, did I mention they're FREE???? :lol:
I'll keep trolling...but this is great!!! (I am assuming everyone has iTunes, or a way to play the files....iTunes is free, and works on any computer. I'll be transferring these over to the MacBook and the iPad soon, so we can listen to them anywhere.
ETA OK...so it's not as great as I thought. Lesson 1 is complete, Lesson 2 is NOT. They want you to go to the website and sign up...only, they're EXPENSIVE. 1 year is $99. You can sign up for the first 5 lessons for $15...but it's only good for 4 months. :grrrrr:
Still.....you can get a basic idea from this...but I'm NOT happy with them. :sigh:
