Somebody please tell me

fiberaddictwhy I thought it was a good idea to get *both* children a pennywhistle? And why I thought it would be a fun bonding experience to attempt to teach them to play it? At the same time?
It was not a success by any means. Herself wouldn't wait for instruction, just grabbed and started blowing...Himself waited, all right, but then wouldn't *quit* blowing when it was time to learn something else. I rapidly got a headache...and it's still here today. Almost 24 hours later. Ugh.
I had thought it would be a good idea to teach them to read music at the same time.......uh huh. Right. I read music easily (lots of private tutoring helps with that!), and want my kids to do so as well. We'll see......
Oh, and the willie warmer project? Is finished. I'm just sayin'.
