I Love It when a plan comes together.....
Aug. 27th, 2012 03:42 pm:rubs hands together: Got home at *12:30* today! :happy dance: Thanks to doing most of the work at home yesterday, but hey - I don't mind. I got off EARLY!!!!!!
I've spent the last 3 hours assembling the Sukkot coasters and table runner. The runner is ready to be sandwiched - it went together quickly. (5" blocks, set on point. The hard part was choosing fabric to go with the Sukkot placemat one.) I also got the RH "candlestick coasters" done - I was waffling on whether or not to do a runner for it.....but I've decided that 1 day Festivals only get candle-coasters; multi-day ones get runners. Makes it easier on *me*. :nods: (And I can change that next year, should we be here.)
Painting: We have the Music/Game room almost completely done! In *1* coat! SG claims it's because we're using "Thistle Blue", which "covers better because it's blue". Um. No - I think it's because this time I grabbed the roller covers made for semi-smooth to rough walls, instead of the ones HE bought that were for smooth to semi-smooth walls. Deeper plush = more paint on the roller = faster coverage. Still need to paint the trim; it needs to be DONE because the entry hall and kids' hall are full of the stuff from the room.
Not much else to report.....
