We were doing History today - "The Artists of the Northern Renaissance" (BTW, Homeschool Buyer's Co-op is offering a deal on ALL the Mystery of History curriculum. It's.....30% off, I think, which is good; *I* didn't beat that on eBay when I was hunting all the books. Take a look!). Anyway.
We get to Pieter Brugel, and it's talking about the subjects of his paintings. It said "harvesters, hunters, and peasants".....only I read it as "harvesters, hunters, and *pheasants*". :snicker:
We've been laughing at that ever since......and everything now has pheasants! Everything is better with pheasants!
(well....we thought it was funny....)
