Short one today....
Oct. 10th, 2012 10:56 ambecause it's overcast, I have a headache again, and my wrist hurts from trimming 2 goats' hooves. :sigh: 2 down, 28 (or thereabouts!) to go!
Been thinking: In The Mark of the Lion series I've been plowing thru, something in Book 1 stood out to me. One of the characters quotes Yeshua "This generation won't pass away before the Son of Man comes again" (quoted from my faulty memory). The character then points out that, because Believers have Eternal Life, it doesn't matter WHEN He comes back, they'll still be ALIVE in HIM, therefore, that statement is always true!
Blew my mind, because I've never sat down and thought of it that way. It's obvious, now, but.....wow. What a concept!
There's a few other things that stood out on this re-reading, but....nothing's gelled yet.
I was going to make some soap today, but can't - last night SG turned my kitchen into a brewery. I have a carboy of beer burping away right now....and it's blown it's top 3x. My house smells like a brewhouse now....NOT my favorite scent. But I'll soon have some flat beer to use in soap! :happy dance: Once he moves the thing into the bedroom (oh, joy - I get to listen to flatulent beer all night long! :whee!:), I'll be able to actually MAKE something! (Maybe even more cheese, since the milk production has gone up.)
