Mostly. I have spent the last week mostly in bed. I tried to cough my lungs up for a few days, there, and my throat was all knives, but now? Now I am mostly OK. Still coughing, but not as much. Still tired, but it's no longer the draining, total exhaustion that it was. Only....now both - BOTH! - kids are coughing. :sigh: So much for *allergies*, huh?

Let's see....Thursday evening we picked up an entertainment center for my Studio. The last piece of furniture that'll fit and that I needed. Friday morning Himself and I set it up (after doing some quick, ugly repairs to it. It's.....Ugly. It had no back, and one of the doors broke when the guy tried to get it out of his house. Himself and I slapped some partial paneling on the back - you can't SEE it, so I don't care that it's ugly and mis-matched - and moved it where it was going to live.). It's UGLY-ugly, but it works. I might paint it later - might not. It's close in color to the sock yarn containment unit, and the finish is OK-ish. Free is good. And it holds ALL my overflow spinning stash and all of my non-sock yarns. And there's still room for HERSELF'S acrylic stash! So, ugly works.

Yesterday I was finally able to stay upright long enough to tackle some fabric bins for said Ugly. I made 5 - 2 for my Worsted Weight, 2 for my Sport/DK weight, and 1 for my Bulky. I need at least 1 more for my "special" fiber - the silk/merino, the alpaca blend, the cashmere - that I don't want to mix into the matching weight category, but that won't take long. Then I need to get with Herself to see what she wants in regards to containment for her stash. I need to get a shelf in there, but otherwise it works a treat. Not bad for free!

Today SG went to play poker, so Himself and I put up shelf brackets (and 2 shelves!) in Herself's room. I'd been asking, and asking - so today we tackled it and got it done. In 1 hour. :sigh: I then took a nap; when I got up I moved the small bookshelf into the breakfast area and filled it with my cookbooks. (No, the kitchen isn't finished, nor have the baseboards in the breakfast area been replaced. I am tired of tripping over boxes.)

Oh! SG ordered the bedroom/bathroom floors on Thursday, THEN decided to start getting plumbing quotes on Friday. The floors should be here Wednesday or Thursday.......and we haven't done ANYTHING to the bathroom. I informed him that *I* am NOT doing ANYTHING in either room once the floors have been installed, so if he wants MY help, he needs to get cracking. :big sigh: You'll note he went to play poker today instead of, y'know, DOING anything to the bedroom/bathroom, so I am not holding out a lot of hope, here. No matter - I am NOT DOING ANY TYPE OF REMODELING once the floors are in. He will be on his own. Which will mean we will be without a bathroom for a long period of time, but that is NOT MY PROBLEM. :sigh: Planning. It's what adults DO. :big sigh:

Sorry. It's been.....well, not fun here lately. I've been trying to stay on top of stuff even while hacking up my lungs........and I'm tired. Ah, well - when we moved in this house back in 2003, we didn't have running water for 2 weeks, and we survived (the building super left the port-a-potty for me, which was major nice. And we had 1 outside faucet, so I could do bucket baths - not fun in December, but it worked.). I can deal with this.
