I started on the fair isle portion of the sock cuff this AM at.....say 9:30. It is now 11:45, and I am almost 1/2 done with it.

Looks like it'll be...call it 4 hours for the cuff.

I forget how long it takes me to do 2 color knitting.

I have to say, it does look good, though! The green is set off nicely by the purple fuzzy. Just enough glitz is showing to add flash.

The rest of the sock should go much faster - the heel flap will be over 36 stitches, so it shouldn't take too long. That's the only other 2 color portion of these socks.....

I'll probably do most of the ribbing in the green, to conserve the purple. Or, maybe not - I still have a pretty *huge* ball of purple. I'm surprised - after a tam, and a WW, and this cuff I expected to have a lot *less* of it. Maybe I've found the never-ending ball of yarn, here.....

Oh, and I also forgot what a kick it is to work with handspun. Yummy! Commercial yarn is nice, but it's lifeless and...dead compared to handspun. Even demo-spun handspun (which is NOT consistant, but still nice.)
