fiberaddictHmmmm. I spent last night watching Antiques Roadshow and carding up the moorit Romney. Don't know if I managed to card up my goal of 1 oz, but I got 4 really nice batts off of the PG.
I flicked the locks open first, then ran them thru the carder 2 times. The batts are nice and lofty, with very few neps. Must get out the scale and weigh them, so I know if I've met the goal or not.
I need to find a source for French Blue dye....I don't want to use Rit or Tintex if I can get away from them, since so much of them go down the drain.
