It's a Monday...

thankfully, it's a short week this week - I don't know that I could handle another 5 days of just me'n'Ms. boss. :sigh: (Yes, she's already popped an attitude this AM - and she's not even here! :bangs head:)

Still contemplating phones....we'll see. I have until July 11 to fully decide if I want something *other*than* the iPhone....ideas, folks - give me recommendations! :grin:

Still slogging away on the sock. At the black hole point.....need to get it done so I can start #2. And mine...:grin:

Not much else going on.....

Take a look at the BlackBerry line. Jenny loves her BB Pearl-- the software is pretty intuitive and the keys aren't ridiculously small. The new BB Bold looks pretty nice, too.

If you're looking for an iPhone-like device, you might try the HTC Touch. I don't know who your current carrier is, but I know Sprint offers it. If you're already with AT&T, of course the iPhone is the sexy, fun choice. The Motorola Q gets good reviews and Palm has legions of fans. But I'd stay away from the Samsung BlackJack. A former co-worker had one of those and hated it.

OK - the Blackberry. Is it Wi-Fi, or MediaNet, or ????? The screen looked small on the ones in the store - can you zoom in on the pages, or do you have to squint? Can you google, or are you stuck with some other search engine?

The BlackJacks...well, they suck - or, at least, they look like they do. :grin:

It's not so much that the iPhone is sexy and fun - it works. After 4 days of no 'net access, and a hotel that was having Wi-Fi problems, the iPhone saved our sanity. Not to mention it was useful in looking up stuff while we were driving...:grin:
