Just a quickie...

FIL is improving. He *might* get to go home (on oxygen, with a walker) tomorrow. His diagnosis: bronchitis with fluid.
MIL is "improving". She has had issues with her kidneys and liver in the past, along with the congestive heart failure. The fluid is slowly coming off, but she has a lot in the "3rd space" - they have her on something that starts with an "A" to pull the fluid back into the vascular system, and on Lasix to pull it from the vascular system to the kidneys to get rid of it. They're talking rehab for her, in 3 or 4 days. Maybe.
We're all zombies right now. We're trying to spend a few hours every day at the hospital; when you add the drive time we're gone most of the day (it's a good 1.5 hours from here to the hospital. Their house is right at 1 hour away....so, yeah......:sigh:
Anyway, sorry for the radio silence - there's not much I can do about it right now. Hopefully FIL can go home tomorrow - I'll drop the kids with him to help him out. I'll still be running ragged, but at least he'll be home. (We're spending a lot of time running between hospital wings right now. Fun times!)
Gotta get the kids up so we can head out. Laters!
